The highway between West Thumb and Fishing Bridge is a major area for wildlife viewing. Hayden Valley, between Fishing Bridge and Canyon Village is considered second only to the Lamar Valley for viewing wildlife. Here is a mother Bison with two calves one of which is a newborn. Note the elk in the background.
