Mamoth Hot Springs Town

Mammoth Hot Springs is a large calcite deposit located above the town. The town is near the original entrace to the park which is now called the North Entrance. Fort Yellowstone is also located in the town but is not show in this view. The hotel (in the center of the picture with the school bus in front) is one of the ones open during the winter.
